Teenagers, ages 13-18, are encouraged to take advantage of the many overnight retreats, camps and mission trips that Trinity has to offer. Many of these opportunities result in life-changing ways to connect teens with God and others in a safe, Christ-centered atmosphere.
Every summer, our teens embark on a mission trip. In 2019, the youth will go to the mountains of north Georgia along with youth from Community United Methodist in DeBary. Together, these fine young men and women will work on several mission projects, and focus on serving others as Christ would have us do.
Once back home, the teens are asked to share their personal, spiritual experiences with the congregation on Mission Trip Sunday. For more info, contact our Children & Youth Ministry Director, “Miss Lori” Hansard, by calling the church office at (386) 734-4425 or by email at email@example.com.
Trinity Youth are deeply committed to performing community service all around the greater-DeLand area. Everything from baking cookies to small home repair jobs, from helping an invalide with yard work to moving an elderly person into a new home, our youth understand the meaning of serving others.
If anyone needs our assistance, all they need to do is call the Church Office at (386) 734-4425 to make a request. One of our pastors will review the need to determine if and when our teens will be available to assist.

In addition to mission trips, children and youth are encouraged to attend the United Methodist “church camp” (better known as Warren Willis Camp) in Fruitland Park, Florida. There, they will experience a high-energy, life-changing week at one of their eight weeks of classic overnight camp.
Rising 4th grade students through recently graduated seniors are invited to jump-start their faith while making lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories on beautiful Lake Griffin. Kids spend four full days zip lining, tubing, doing yoga, sailing, making crafts, learning archery, and so much more! The experienced camp staff, extensively trained counselors, and American Camp Association-accredited program aim to provide a rich and rewarding experience for day campers. Children will take part in traditional activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, our team-building challenge course, and Bible studies—all in a safe, Christ-centered atmosphere.
Trinity members know how important camping experiences are for children and youth, so every year funds are raised to greatly reduce the cost of sending campers. Partial and full scholarships are available. For more information on our summer camp program, contact Children & Youth Ministry Director, “Miss Lori” Hansard by calling the church office at (386) 734-4425 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
