Maundy Thursday

Drive-In Worship Services

DRIVE-IN WORSHIP SERVICES

Trinity is holding Drive-In Worship Services on Sundays at 10 a.m. (NOTE: Will change time to 9 am on July 1st!) This event is safe, free, and open to the public. Parking is available near the church’s portico on the Clara Avenue side (south side) of the building. Extra parking is available in the Volusia County School Board parking lots.

The service is broadcast on a local radio channel. Participants stay in their cars and tune their radios to 88.5 FM to experience the service. Rev. Dr. Todd Bardin, along with our worship team, conducts the live service from the outdoor portico, so attendees are able to see and hear the pastor, readers, and musicians, as together we worship in this unique and creative format.

To ensure the safety of all and to maintain proper social distancing, attendees are not be allowed to get out of their cars. We do not pass anything out, such as worship bulletins or communion elements. We celebrate Holy Communion every week and ask attendees to BYOB – Bring Your Own Bread. Any kind of bread and any kind of juice will work.

A free-will offering will be collected through a touchless system. When you arrive, first drive under the portico to ensure you can receive the signal then find a place to park and enjoy the service. Ushers will collect offerings in buckets at all exits after the service.

The service will be recorded and posted on the church’s Facebook page following the service. That page is located at https://www.facebook.com/trinitydeland. The recording also will be uploaded to Trinity’s YouTube playlist.

Come as you are! Bring your pet(s). Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to drive-in. Let’s make this fun and exciting as we seek to worship the Lord in new and creative ways! For more information about the service, call Conya Hartman, Music & Worship Director, at (386) 734-4425, extension 205.

Christmas Candlelight Concerts

CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT CONCERT SERIES

Trinity will hold its popular Christmas Candlelight Concerts on two successive nights, December 13th and 14th, beginning at 7:00 pm each evening in the church sanctuary. The concerts are free and open to the public.

The Christmas cantata, titled “Let There Be Christmas!” will feature a large choir with soloists, accompanying instruments and narration. Bethlehem’s star flickers to life in this beautiful musical piece, enhanced by candles in the windows and the backdrop of our beautiful 14-foot Chrismon tree. Composed by Joseph M. Martin, the musical features fresh settings of familar melodies along with beautiful songs designed to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
