As Christians, what we believe unites us and makes us stronger. Make plans to attend Trinity on Sunday, October 7th, as we join with millions of believers across the globe in communion with one another and with Christ.
Watch this video from UM Communications about the practice of communion in the United Methodist Church and why it is considered “the meal that makes us one…”
Communion will be served at both the 8:30 am and 11 am worship services. We will be serving a variety of breads to represent the different nations and peoples of the world.
On World Communion Sunday, all churches of the denomination will take up a special offering that will provide scholarships for national and international students who need financial support to answer God’s call in their lives.
The United Methodist Church practices what is known as “open communion.” This simply means you do not have to be a member to join us at the table. It’s Christ’s table and he invites everyone. Come.
